“First Aid for the Wounded Soul”
May 14th-16th
This was one of the most anticipated retreats of the year! We spent Saturday hiking, bouldering, and exploring God’s creation. At night we worshiped and slept under the stars on the dry lake bed. Sunday, we woke up to a beautiful morning and started the day with studying God’s healing word. Later in the day took some offroad trails and learned how to rappel and rock climb.

noun ( pl. -seys)
a long and eventful or adventurous journey
I want to welcome you to the Odyssey 09 a C3y summer adventure! I don’t know if you are familiar with the original “Odyssey” written by the Greek poet Homer. Odysseus’s journey takes him through storms, trials, and temptations that result in him being gone for another ten years before he returns home. Along his way he has to fight mythical creatures, he is seduced by a witch, escapes from the clutches of giant cannibals, and tries to win favor from the Greek gods. (more…)

No matter what country, culture, people, or tribe all have traditions of acceptance. These traditions vary from slaughtering a bull and drinking it’s blood, to going on a walkabout, to graduating high school or college. The doctrine of the Trinity is an essential teaching and foundation of Christianity. As we pursue the
summation of scriptural data we arrive at the understanding that God is a Triune God, that he is one being who expresses Himself in three persons. It is this doctrine that sets apart orthodox Christianity from the cults. I have compiled a little sheet that you can download and paste into your bible as reference source.
