Bring your parents….tell your neighbors….about our Donation Only Carwash !!!  This Saturday from 7am to 2pm. Help us raise funds to continue our on-going Homeless Breakfast Ministry. While your waiting for you car to be washed, stop on by the social hall for our Christmas boutique. This is your chance to find the perfect gift.

But before you come by Saturday load up your car with any slightly used clothes and shoes that you don’t want anymore. You know the ones that have been sitting in the back of your closet for years. We are having a Clothing Drive, in the church parking lot on the youth side, look for the large pink and green box.

Some Facts:

- CCC Youth feeds over 200 homeless people each month.

- On average each breakfast we do costs around 300 dollars

- According to the County’s 2005 needs assessment survey, the number of people that become homeless in a given year is estimated at almost 35,000 individuals and persons in families in Orange County.

- Families with children represent about 60-70% of the homeless population (approximately 24,000 parents and their children).

- Homeless people and low income families need all types of gently used clothing, particularly warm clothes and coats for cold weather, formal clothes (to attend job interviews), and shoes (which frequently wear out).

We would love all the help we can get. So if you would like to volunteer come dressed to get wet.
