Here is all the info you will need to know…

In this post you will find the packing list of what you will want to bring.  The Youth-Medical-Release-Form and the Event-Release-Form.  A trip itinerary along with some special instructions.  So please take your time to read this carefully.

If you are joining us on this summer adventure you will need to be at Covenant Community Church at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 9th.¬† Other than your bags you will need to have a Youth-Medical-Release-Form, an Event-Release-Form, and money for – breakfast Sunday morning, lunch and dinner at California’s Great America Theme Park, any souvenirs or extra snacks that you want to buy along the trip.

You will need:
1. Sleeping Bag  2. Pillow  3. Air Mat or Foam Pad (optional)  4. Clothes for cold nights and warm days  5. Bathing Suit  6. Towel  7. Sun Block  8. Shoes to Trek in and shoes or sandals to kick back in  9. Toiuletries (Soap, Shampoo, Tooth Brush, Deodorant etc.  10. Flashlight  11. Bible  12. Pen 13. Insect Repellent  14. Camera (optional)  15. Personal Medication  16. Extra Spending Cash.  17. Tent (optional)

Do not bring:
1. ipods, mp3 players or other digital music devices  2. video game systems  3. rabid dogs (there afraid of water).

Trip Itinerary:

Sunday, August 9th – Meet at the Covenant Community Church @ 6:30 a.m. We will stop for breakfast on the way to Solvang. From Solvang we’ll travel to Morro Bay and then on to San Simeon State Park where we will camp the first night.

Monday, August 10th – We will wake up have a leisurly breakfast and time on the beach to do our morning devotions and then heading of to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park.

Tuesday, August 11th – Another day to explore Pfeifer Big Sur State Park.

Wednesday, August 12th – California’s Great America Theme Park San Jose, CA.¬† You will need to bring money for lunch and dinner.¬† After the theme park we will be staying at Foxworthy Baptist Church in San Jose, CA

Thursday, August 13th – Tour of San Francisco.¬† California Academy of Sciences, Fisherman’s Wharf, China Town, World’s Best Hot Fudge Sundays, Golden Gate Bridge, Trolley Cars and much more. That night we will be camping at Mount Tamalpais State Park.

Friday, August 14th – Leaving San Francisco and heading off to the Sierra National Forest to set up camp just outside of Yosemite National Park.

Saturday, August 14th – Yosemite Valley here we come!¬† Get ready for a day of exploring one of America’s greatest treasures.¬† After the valley we’ll be heading for home.
