On trips and retreats we encourage the youth during their quiet times to write a psalm.  A psalm is a song or prayer devoted to the Lord to worship Him.  Some of the teenagers are brave enough to share them with us.  Below are the ones that have been shared.  More will be posted over time:

On Friday, February 20th the youth ministry left from the church parking lot around 4:30 p.m. for Core Camp 2009.  Core Camp is a weekend retreat that our High School program started a couple years ago.  The goal is to take a small group of teens for a weekend and help them learn how to study the Bible.  It is a very intense program with very little free time (about 3 hours a day).  The trip is open to all however we keep the spots limited and it is not the sort of trip that draws everyone.
